The problem isn't the technology. It's how it gets sold, implemented, and adopted.
You're here
Tech that doesn't deliver results.
Sales and implementation pull in different directions
Implementation timelines slip past go-live
Teams revert to the old workflows
Vendor leaves; operations is left to figure it out
Existing technology stays underutilized within your organization
Adoption stalls and ROI never materializes
You want to be here
Tech that delivers operational value.
Sales and implementation pull together
Implementation lands on time and on scope
Teams adopt the new workflow
Vendor handoff is clean; operations is ready
Existing technology is fully utilized within your organization
Adoption sticks and ROI follows
Who we are
Implementation partners that turn purchase into performance.
We engage with three audiences in dental: DSOs implementing technology, vendors selling into them, and the private equity firms investing in both — to ensure that technology is implemented well.
How We Work
A structured process. Measurable results.
Our Process
Assess Current State
Through discovery interviews and auditing your current systems; mapping out the current workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Design Future State
From this vantage point, working collaboratively with you, we design an ideal future state and a roadmap of action items, initiatives and milestones to move into that future state.
Execute the Plan
We embed as a partner with you and your team to execute the plan we have designed. We stay engaged to drive this process until we see operational results.
Engagement Model
Partners who execute.
We customize our approach to have impact in the areas where this gap shows up the most.
01 — Enterprise Implementation Management
From assessment through full adoption
We run the full implementation lifecycle for any tech product you currently have or want to integrate. Embedded specialists assess, design, deploy, and stay through hypercare — until your teams use the technology the way it was meant to be used.
02 — Vendor Advisory
Strategy and execution support
We embed to help with GTM positioning that is aligned with how DSOs actually buy, and design your implementation processes to maximize adoption and reduce churn.
03 — PE Advisory Services
Aligning technology architecture across all portfolio companies
We operate as an advisor helping to identify gaps, align the systems across the portfolio to ensure interoperability, adoption and operational value.
04 — Vendor Managed Implementation
Implementation Partners
We operate as an implementation partner post sale to manage the entire cycle from onboarding to adoption. Our implementation team will engage directly with your customers to drive each new integration process.

Who We Are
Built by operators. For operators.
The Team
The people behind Relay.
Dave Salciccioli
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Relay. Dave has spent years inside DSOs and technology implementation, honing the methodologies that define how Relay runs every engagement.
Matt McGaw
Chief Development Officer and co-founder of Relay, and founder of DSO Compass. Matt advises dental technology vendors on go-to-market strategy and is the #1 source of truth for anyone trying to navigate the world of dental technology.
Caitlin Zulfic
Growth Partner
Caitlin brings nearly two decades of dental operations experience to Relay, spanning front desk and insurance coordination through Director of Specialties at a Boston-area DSO, where she oversaw roughly 70 specialty providers and their traveling teams. She has managed practices, led regional operations for a 13-office group across Massachusetts and Connecticut, and founded Fox & Lotus Consulting. That operator-level background is what she brings to every engagement. She has sat in the seats her clients sit in, so she understands not just the technology, but the real-world friction that makes or breaks adoption on the practice floor.
Jessica Lamers
Growth Partner
Jessica came to go-to-market strategy by sitting on every side of the table first. She spent years in clinical and administrative leadership, learning what it takes to run a practice and support a DSO, then moved to the vendor seat, building strategy for the technology companies selling into them. That dual vantage point led her to found Mycel Advisors, where she helps dental technology companies, DSOs, and industry partners grow through strategic partnerships, market positioning, and executive engagement. At Relay, she brings that expertise to how the firm positions and grows. She is also one of the industry's natural connectors, a frequent speaker and moderator, and active in the Central Oklahoma AADOM Chapter and Women in DSO.
Bonnie Thompson
Growth Partner
Bonnie has more than 30 years in dentistry, beginning as a Registered Dental Assistant and progressing through nearly every area of a dental organization, from clinical care and front office operations to executive leadership, ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer. Her experience spans private practices, multi-location groups, and mid-sized DSOs, giving her a clear view of how every department contributes to exceptional patient care and sustainable growth. She believes dentistry is first and foremost a people-centered profession, and focuses on developing leaders, building high-performing cultures, and aligning people, processes, and technology.
Why Relay Exists
Relay closes the gap between dental technology investment and operational results.
Operators first
Built from inside DSOs, not from a whiteboard. We speak the language, know the pressure, and earn credibility by running the race ourselves.
With you to the finish line
Your win is the only win that counts. We’re in it with you — accountable to your outcomes, not just our deliverables.
Smooth Handoff
The handoff is where most implementations fail. We own that moment and everything after — until adoption is real and results are measurable.
Speed to value
Every day between go-live and real adoption is revenue left behind. We move with urgency in communication, decisions, and delivery. Speed isn't a feature — it's respect.
